Our Kids Aerial & Yoga Summer Camp blends movement, mindfulness and creativity for kids ages 6 to 12… all in a warm, bilingual (English & German) environment. Perfect for international families, expats and local Basel residents, this half-day summer camp gives children the chance to fly in aerial hammocks, build confidence through yoga, and connect with themselves and others in a joyful and nurturing setting.

Through yoga, aerial hammock skills, games, crafts and teamwork challenges, your child will build strength, confidence, coordination and resilience while experiencing the joy of movement. With a focus on compassion, creativity and self-expression, we provide a space where kids can flip, swing, balance and breathe their way to greater confidence and well-being.

THE DETAILS
The camp fee is 330 CHF, which includes all materials and a healthy mid-morning snack. It is recommended for children aged 6 to 12, with a limited number of spots available for a maximum of 14 participants. Please take a moment to review our Camp Cancellation Policy.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We've answered some of the most common questions we've heard below. If there's something we didn't cover that's important to you (or if you just want to chat about camp) feel free to send us an email. We'd love to hear from you!

  • Our camp is designed for children ages 6–12, with all levels of experience welcome. Whether your child is brand new to yoga or already doing flips in an aerial hammock, they’ll feel at home here.

  • This camp is held in both English and German. One Instructor (Emily) is native-speaking English and the other (Grace) is native-speaking German. Instructors use both languages throughout the day, making it a great choice for international and multilingual families.

  • Kids should wear comfortable, stretchy clothing suitable for movement (like leggings and a t-shirt). For aerial yoga leggings that cover the knee are recommended for comfort - please no zippers or velcro. Your child should bring:

    • A refillable water bottle

    • A small healthy snack (optional)

    • Extra clothing (weather specific)

    All other materials, including yoga mats and aerial hammocks, are provided. We also offer a daily light snack (znüni) that includes fruit and crackers.

  • Yes, absolutely. Safety is a priority. The aerial hammocks are professionally installed and regularly maintained. All activities are age-appropriate, and our instructors are trained in working with children and ensuring a supportive and secure environment.

  • We prefer that families commit to the full week to help create consistency, bonding and a complete experience for all the children. If you want to request individual days or a shortened week, please email us.

  • To ensure individual attention and a calm connected environment, each week is limited to 14 kids (with minimum 2 teachers). Early registration is recommended.

  • Yes! Many kids return for both weeks. The content is varied enough to keep it engaging, even for repeat participants.

  • That is totally okay! Our team is gentle, welcoming and skilled in helping all kids feel comfortable. Many participants start out shy and leave feeling confident, happy and proud of what they accomplished.

  • Yes, our summer camps are a special part of our yearly schedule. But we also offer Aerial Yoga Series for Kids, GLOWGA Yoga Parties and monthly Family Yoga sessions. You can find all of our Kids & Family Yoga offerings here.
