Stories sit at the heart of the yoga tradition, offering timeless insight into the human experience. In this special Myth Mantra Movement workshop, we creatively weave together storytelling, mantra chanting and an embodied asana practice to bring one beloved myth to life: the tale of Hanuman, the courageous and devoted monkey hero.
We’ll explore Hanuman’s story as a symbol of bravery, service and heart-centered strength, discovering how ancient teachings remain deeply relevant today for each of us. Through dynamic Vinyasa Flow, mantra to Hanuman and a short guided meditation, you’ll be invited to step into Hanuman’s energy - courageous, powerful and full of heart.
Our physical practice will include hamstring- and hip-opening sequences that prepare the body for Hanumanasana (the splits), honoring Hanuman’s legendary leap. We’ll also play with pathways toward Eka Pada Koundinyasana, exploring flight, focus and the balance between effort and devotion.
